Rob Gallion - NYCRHL Hall of Fame

The backbone of the Lions, Gallion was the most important player during the club's dynasty. A steady presence on the backline, Gallion did it all. Whether it was providing shutdown defense, scoring or setting up a big goal, or winning a crucial face-off, Gallion was at the center of every Lions big moment.

Joining the league in 2009, before moving to the Lions franchise, Gallion led the Chiefs (AXA) to two titles, earning the Spring 2010 Playoff MVP. After joining the Lions, Gallion began to rack up more individual hardware. A six-time Outstanding Defenseman winner (Fall 2013, Spring 2014, Spring 2015, Fall 2015, Spring 2016, and Spring 2018,) Gallion was also named league MVP in Fall 2015 and Spring 2017. A calming presence on defense, Gallion won an incredible 9 championships with the Lions.
