An acrobatic goaltender, "Blitz" was no stranger to NYCRHL championships. A 6-time Tier 1 champion with smt Expo (4) and the Lions (2), Blitz was also a clutch goalkeeper as demonstrated by his 2 Playoff MVP awards in the Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 seasons. While he lacked size, Blitzer made up for it with heart. Blitz was the league's inaugural Outstanding Goaltender winner in Summer 2007 and repeated that performance 3 more times in Fall 2007, Spring 2010, and Spring 2015. A 7-time post-season all-star selection (4 - 1st team, 3 - 2nd team,) Blitzer was the model of consistency during his 9-year career and a worthy first member of the NYCRHL Hall of Fame.
